Sectional sofa cleaning, every seat and seam
L-shapes, U-shapes, modular pieces and chaises, cleaned in a single visit with a flat price you see before we start.
Sectional cleaning in Honolulu starts at $329 with Like Day One, covering a standard L-shaped sectional in one visit. We test the fabric, clean every seat, back and seam, and most sectionals are dry in 4–6 hours.
A sectional is where the whole family lands. Movie nights, naps, the dog, the kids' snacks. That makes it the hardest-working piece of furniture in most homes, and the one that shows it first. Our sectional cleaning in Honolulu covers every seat, back cushion, chaise and hidden seam in one visit.
We quote a flat price based on the size and fabric, so you know the number before we arrive. No per-cushion math at the door. Vitor & Fabi do the work themselves, pull the pieces apart where the frame allows, and clean the corners that collect crumbs, sand and pet hair.
Big sectionals are often linen, velvet or a performance blend, and each one needs a different method. Learn more in our upholstery cleaning guide, or compare with standard couch cleaning.

How we clean it, step by step
- 01
Measure & quote
Send a photo and seat count. We confirm the flat price before the visit.
- 02
Inspect & test
We read the fabric code and test a hidden area for shrinkage and color bleed.
- 03
Separate & vacuum
Modular pieces are pulled apart where possible and every crevice is vacuumed.
- 04
Pre-treat & extract
Traffic zones and spots are pre-treated, then each section is extracted.
- 05
Groom, dry & reassemble
We brush the fibers, set up airflow and put the pieces back once they are dry to the touch.

Linen, velvet and performance: what we do differently
Large sectionals sold in Honolulu showrooms are often natural linen, cotton velvet or a performance fabric. They behave very differently when wet.
- Linen and linen blends can shrink, ripple or leave brown water marks if soaked. We use low moisture, fast extraction and strong airflow.
- Velvet can crush or show "shading" if dried unevenly. We clean with light passes and brush the pile in one direction while it dries.
- Performance fabrics resist water-based stains but still hold body oils. We use a pre-treatment that breaks down oil before rinsing.
Before we start, we check the cleaning code on the tag (W, S, WS or X). If a fabric is risky, we tell you and adjust the method instead of guessing.
Big furniture, tight spaces
Many sectionals we clean sit in condos in Waikiki and Kakaako, where the living room is small and the sofa fills it. We bring compact equipment, protect your floors and walls, and work within building hours. In larger homes in Kahala and Kaimuki, a sectional often faces a sunny lanai, which fades one side and bakes oils into the other. We clean both and tell you what we see.
Drying is simple: keep the AC running or open windows for the trade winds, and stay off the cushions for a few hours. We leave the pieces slightly apart so air can move through the seams.
How often? For a sectional that gets daily use, once a year is a good baseline. With pets, small kids or a lot of beach days, every six months keeps odor from building up inside the cushions. Between visits, vacuum the seams weekly, flip and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly, and blot spills right away with a clean white towel instead of rubbing them.
Protect the seat everyone uses
A sectional takes more daily abuse than any other furniture. Adding fabric protection right after cleaning repels spills and makes cleanup easier, so a dropped drink gives you time to blot. You can see every add-on price on our pricing page. Matching dining seats? Add dining chair cleaning to the same visit.
What clients say about our sectional work
Sectional: questions, answered
Still unsure? Text us a photo and ask — a real person answers.
How do you price a sectional?
Our flat price starts at $329 for an L-shaped sectional up to five seats, including a chaise. Larger U-shapes, recliners or extra modules cost more, and we confirm the number from a photo before we visit. The price you are quoted is the price you pay, before GET.
Can you clean a velvet sectional?
Yes. Velvet needs a gentle, low-moisture approach and careful brushing so the pile dries evenly without crushing or shading. We always test a hidden area first. Cotton velvet is more delicate than polyester velvet, and we adjust the method depending on which one you have at home.
Will my linen sectional shrink?
Linen can shrink or water-mark if it gets too wet or dries slowly. We use controlled moisture, strong extraction and fast airflow to keep that risk low. We test first and tell you if your fabric shows any warning signs before cleaning, so you can decide how to proceed.
Do you remove the cushion covers?
No. We clean covers on the cushions. Taking them off and washing them can shrink them so they never zip back on, and it can make them look different from the frame. Cleaning in place keeps every piece matching, and it is the method most furniture makers recommend.
How long until we can use the sectional again?
Most sectionals are dry to the touch in 4–6 hours with the AC on or a good cross-breeze. Thick cushions or a humid, windless day can take longer. You can sit on it gently once it feels dry, and we recommend waiting overnight before using protector-treated seats heavily.
